Azriel Demain the creator of FallnAngel Creations sells a lot. As I walked around his shop it seemed to me that one post would not do what he offers justice and so I think I will have to break it up into several and focus in parts on all that he offers starting today with something we have yet to cover in our merchant post: Avatar appearance.

The Sanitarium where you teleport for avatar shopping is appropriately creepy and is worth mentioning. The place is rundown and institutional with both staff and patients portraits on the walls one blank one simply labeled escaped. You can use the Teleport board or click on of the boxes for LMs to get around but for the full experience I recommend walking and exploring as you leave the lobby the sounds change for wind induced creaking to screams of the tormented. If you go immediately upstairs you will find his hair offerings.
FallnAngel Creations’ hair comes in a huge variety of unusual, fantastic colors and styles. If you want a particular look for your avatar and are not finding it at the usual hair stores try here and play with his demos. They are free and like all hair purchases they will give you a good idea of how it will look on you and how it moves.
His skins have an amazing variety particularly in the feline skins I saw many with markings more common in house cats than feral. One offering which I loved was sock and glove layers that add paw pads to your hands and feet which were simply adorable. He does offer some of the spots and things as tattoo clothing layers so you can pick a skin of your liking and simply add a more feline look to it. There are also extensive body piercings and more regular tattoo offered in this way as well. Many of the stripes and spots are in viewer 2 layers as well. In the skin area you will also find cat ears and tails to match the skins FallnAngel Creations offers as well as elf and fae ears, again, in a few different styles.
You will also find some very nice skin for the dead among us or those with more colorful than usual with some fun make up options. But what I thought he did best were skins for the much more decomposed.
You can pick up full avatars also, male and female vampires, gypsies, merfolk, fae, and elves, even geisha.

SHACK sells a good variety of items for fantasy and role play apparel. Firefox Fonda is very talented and is making good use of the tattoo layers now available in viewer 2. I would recommend you take your time to explore all that SHACK offers. However, for the purpose of this blog post I will be focusing on the two sections she has that most appeal to the fantasy shopper, Silks and Gowns.


Her silks are very popular with our Fae and with good reason. SHACK has a ton of silks in a wonderful variety and each style has quite a few colors to choose from everything from pastels and brights to deep jewel tones. I am convinced if you have not found silks you like anywhere else there will be something here that strikes your fancy. While she has many that resemble the style of silks that I have seen most commonly she also has quite a few that are more Turkish or Indian in there look and of course a lot in between. If you don’t have a set of silks you like you might want to stop by SHACK and take a look, you never know where the Fairies will start dancing.

Firefox Fonda does just as good of a job in creating variety and options in her gowns as she does in her silks. You can find something for just about any look and many of the gowns have the versatility of layering pieces for a variety of looks for whatever occasion or weather you may be dressing for. Her looks range from the very medieval to renaissance and ever a little Victorian with a good bit of fantasy and whimsy worked in. Again here you can see how wonderful texture take a good styled piece and kick it up a bit. A few of her gowns are more Gorean as the majority of her work leans in that direction however, she has made all of her dresses very versatile and if that is not the look you want the same dresses can be worn without the veil and they are simply a stunning gown as her add pictures show.

Deviance creator Surreal LeShelle, offers quite a few wonderful fantasy clothing options. Many are based off of classic fairytales and stories from Snow White to Tinkerbelle and many original creations besides. One set that she offers that I am personally in love with is her Rose Red. This is derived from the story of sisters, Snow White and Rose Red who help a bear who is really a prince under a spell. One thing that Deviance does is that the Lucky Cupcake has unique items that are variations on what she has for sale. One of these items is Blue Bell which was the name of a third sister who appears in some versions of the story and was my favorite of them as a child. The set comes with different skirt lengths and color options.

She has a wonderful collection of fae styles. From the classic Ballerina Sugarplum fairy to some more unusual and magical styles there is likely to be something for everyone.
The Elementalist set comes in both deep jewel tones or in some stunning rainbow fades. The Enchantress set which has a similar flair also has a good variety of colors and at the time of writing this post (8/10/10) is available in a unique lavender color for L$10 as part of the Platinum Hunt which runs until the end on the month. For the prim outfits like the Enchantress and the Elementalist there is a shape included to help you better fit them without much tweaking.
While many of the styles seem to appeal to those of fairy blood, Deviance does all so have a few gowns and even a more martial set. Her gowns are of wonderful quality and are consistent the wonderful textures used on the other garments in the shop.

She does offer more modern styles both of street wear and costuming with the bunny girls or pirates. One newer offering which works only in those with viewer 2 are some face tattoos. They have different colors and styles some looking more like make-up, others like scars, or tattoos or even tears. I will be looking into picking up some of these in the near future.

Woodshed Furniture (Merchant post)

RH Engel of Woodshed Furniture is truly a very talented individual. In the beginning his work was almost strictly medieval, but now he has taken a very fantasy twist. His furniture which is where he got started is beautiful.











The textures and the shaping truly have the look of handcrafted wood. Woodshed of course offers more than just furniture with lighting and other pieces of decoration.













As you can see, he has moved beyond furniture now to buildings and many are very fantasy in nature and incredibly artistic and detailed. His work ranges in styles from the gothic and rustic to the whimsical and a little wild and for those looking for something a little more anachronic there were some delightful offerings boardering on Victorian.













I can't wait to see what else he has in store for us. I could very easily walk out of his store a pauper and nearly did when Cali and I came to take pictures. RH Engel has become very skilled in the use of sculpties and his works are steadily becoming lower and lower in prim. You will see this especially in his buildings. You will find one or two of his cottages around Alurel, and more when I am able to get my hands on them.

When you first walk into EarthStones, you have the impression of walking into an old country lodge, the type where the whole village would gather in the winter to tell stories or to trade.
The name of her shop is very descriptive for what she does. Her jewelry is very down to earth, very much like something modern day pagans would wear and quite often something that could have been plucked off of the neck of an elvish lord or lady.














Despite the rustic look of the store her work does not cater exclusively to the simplistic designs you would expect. While there are many good casual pieces you will find just as many ornate and formal designs, including wedding jewelry.
Abraxxa Anatine pays a lot of attention to detail in her work and I can only guess that she would know her stones in rl as well as she knows them in sl to make them look so real here. There are many fine pieces here fit for any high born lord or lady down to any simple wood maiden. Even the fae should find something to their liking in this place!
Whatever type of jewelry you are looking for they are likely to have something the fit your taste including some of the less common styles like the foot and bracelet set pictured. So if you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary or just right for an ordinary day you are likely to find it here.
The store offers a wider variety of jewelry types and styles as you can see from the teleport board. If you want something specific then take advantage of the board as the store is very large and easy to get lost in if you are not familiar with it. One very cool offering EarthStones has that may strike the fancy of our earthier creatures: Stones Eyes. These are a beautiful take on the stones and gems in the jewelry in iris form. These are stunningly well done.
