Movie: Robin Hood

Release Date: 14 May 2010 (USA)

Runtime: 134 min

Birth of a legend.

Following King Richard's death in France, archer Robin Longstride, along with Will Scarlett, Alan-a-Dale and Little John, returns to England. They encounter the dying Robert of Locksley, whose party was ambushed by treacherous Godfrey, who hopes to facilitate a French invasion of England. Robin promises the dying knight he will return his sword to his father Walter in Nottingham. Here Walter encourages him to impersonate the dead man to prevent his land being confiscated by the crown, and he finds himself with Marian, a ready-made wife. Hoping to stir baronial opposition to weak King John and allow an easy French take-over, Godfrey worms his way into the king's service as Earl Marshal of England and brutally invades towns under the pretext of collecting Royal taxes. Can Robin navigate the politics of barons, royals, traitors, and the French?

All show times are in sl time.

There are 46 minutes between when the movie ends and the next begins so you have plenty of time if you are late but try not to be more than 40 minutes late if you want to be sure of seeing it all :). The reason there is so much time between show times is because the movie is so long. This way if you need to stand and do something in rl, you need only press pause in your viewer (NOT on the tv in world), go do what you need to do, return and press play again to pick up where you left off. This allows you plenty of time to see the entire movie :). (be sure you are pressing pause and not stop or you will have to start viewering the movie from the beginning again!!!)

The Show Times Are (subject to change according to attendance):

5:00am - 7:14am

8:00am - 10:14am

11:00am - 1:14pm

2:00pm - 4:14pm

5:00pm - 7:14pm

8:00pm - 10:14pm

11:00pm - 1:14am

After this it gets hazy. Unless we can find someone who's time zones match it's catch as catch can. the dvd will be placed beside the tv and all you must do is click it and click play from the drop down menu. if someone is already there watching, then you should be able to just click play on your own viewer and it will start to play for you since the movie is already in motion. it's when the movie has ended that it won't start.

Please remember that, unless you are here when start the movie (Phoenix viewer and some others), the movie will not automatically start as soon as you land. Viewer 2 users MUST press play even if you are here when when I start the movie. The play button for Phoenix and some other viewers is on the bottom right of your screen next to what looks like a small movie camera. If you are in viewer 2 and don't know how to play just the media without the music on the land playing at well: To play media (movie) only, go to the play/pause icon next to the speaker icon on the top right of your viewer. Hover the mouse over the icon and select "More" from the menu that comes up. There stop all but "Parcel streaming media" use this to play and pause the movie as well. Rember though regardless of what you do here the movie will restart when the next show time hits. So please becarfull not to pause to long.

You MUST have the most current version of Quicktime for media to work!!!

If you teleport out, you will have to start the movie over again when you get back! It's not like a dvd player. You can't pick up where you left off, so unless it's super important, stay put. If you MUST leave, might as well come back at the next showtime :).

Movie day is not just for our family members! Feel free to pass this notecard on to your friends or bring your friends along with you :).

Love and Light,

Aianna Oh

Greetings, I think it's wonderful that you have movie nights, what a great idea! The start times seem to be spread well throughout the day, I think anyone in any timezone could see it.

I'm curious about the faeries and other creatures I see floating around, who there be a place I could acquire one of my own? They are beautiful and so peaceful. My blog account is connected to my main email, so I will respond to any replies promptly, thank you :)
